Access Watson Visual Recognition in Excel

Data results output in Excel

Classify images from web links. Returns the classification and confidence level.

Combine with the StringJoin function to create a comma separated list of all classes:

=StringJoin(Connector("WatsonVisualRecognition.WatsonVisualRecognition";{img link};"Class";FALSE);",")


Add from Manager

The IBM Watson Visual Recognition Connector is available in the Connectors Manager in the top ribbon:

Head over to the Image Recognition Category and install the connector:

API Credentials

To use the IBM Watson Connector you need an API Key.

  1. If you don't have an existing IBM Cloud account, Sign-up here.

  2. Go to the Visual Recognition page, and click the Create button.

  3. Next, go to the Resources page, expand the Services row and click on the Service you just created in step 2.

  4. Click "Show Credentials" and copy the API key.

  5. Paste the key in the Settings form in the task-pane inside Seotools:
