Access Google Geocoding in Excel

Data results output in Excel

Search Mode

  • Geocoding - Converts a string address (e.g. '5th Avenue, New York' into geocode information.
  • Reverse GeoCoding - Converts latitude and longitude into geocode information.

Fields

  • Address
  • Types (for example 'establishment' or 'street address')
  • Latitude
  • Longitude
  • Location Type (for example 'approximate' or 'rooftop')

Access

Add from Manager

The Google Geocoding Connector is available in the Connectors Manager in the top ribbon:

Head over to the GEO Category and install Google Geocoding:

API Key

To use the Connector you need an API key. If you don't have a key, we recommend following the step-by-step instructions on this page

Paste the key in the settings window inside the Google Geocoding connector taskpane:
